Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Uncapped (“the App”), published under the Sonas Island brand by Serhiy Lunak (“we”, “us”, “our”), handles your information. In short: we do not collect your personal data. The App runs entirely on your Mac.
What stays on your Mac
Uncapped needs the macOS Accessibility permission to read keyboard and mouse input and run the shortcuts you configure. This input is processed only on your device to carry out the actions you set up. We do not log your keystrokes, record what you type, read your screen, or transmit any of this anywhere. Your settings, shortcuts, and the usage counts shown on the in-app Stats screen are stored locally on your Mac and are never uploaded, shared, or synced.
Anonymous analytics
To understand which features are useful and where to improve the App, we collect anonymous usage analytics through TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused, GDPR-compliant analytics service. These analytics are anonymised and cannot be used to identify you.
What is sent is limited to anonymous events about how the App is used — for example, which features you enable, or a shortcut was recorded — along with general technical details such as the App version and your macOS version. We do not send your keystrokes, the content you type, your name, email, IP address, or any other personal identifier. You can read how TelemetryDeck anonymises data in its privacy documentation.
Opting out of analytics
If you have purchased a licence, you can turn off analytics from within the App’s settings. Once disabled, the App stops sending any telemetry signals.
Payments
If you purchase Uncapped, your payment is handled by our third-party payment/reseller partner, who processes your payment details under their own privacy policy. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details.
