Introduction

Welcome to Kyro (“we,” “our,” or “us”). We built this application with a strict privacy-first philosophy. This Privacy Policy explains our approach to your data when you use our iOS mobile application.

The short version is simple: We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data on our servers.

Information Collection & Local Storage

Unlike many applications, we do not require you to create an account, nor do we track your usage across the internet.

  • Your Data Stays Yours: All the information you enter into the app—including your tasks, daily completions, and settings—is stored on your own Apple device and, if you use iCloud, in your own private iCloud account.
  • No Server Transmissions: We do not run our own servers that receive or store your data. What happens on your device stays on your device (and your private iCloud), and is never sent to us.

iCloud Sync

Kyro can keep your routine and history in sync across the devices signed in to your Apple Account, using Apple’s iCloud. When enabled, your data is stored in your own private CloudKit database—a space only you can access—so your iPhone and iPad show the same tasks and streaks, and everything is restored when you set up a new device.

This sync is handled entirely by Apple’s iCloud infrastructure. We never see, receive, or store the synced data; it moves between your own devices through your private iCloud account. If you prefer not to use iCloud, you can turn it off in the iOS Settings app, and your data will remain solely on your device.

No Advertisements

We believe in a clean, distraction-free experience. Kyro does not display any third-party advertisements, and we do not use any advertising tracking SDKs to monitor your behavior.

Analytics

To understand how Kyro is used and to improve the app, we collect anonymous usage data through TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service. This data is fully anonymized and cannot be used to identify you or to build a profile of you across apps or the internet. We use it only in aggregate to learn which features are useful and where the app can be better. You can read more about how TelemetryDeck protects your privacy in their Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Services

While we do not collect personal data, the app relies on a specific Apple service to provide core functionality:

  • Apple StoreKit (In-App Purchases): We offer premium features through In-App Purchases. All transactions are handled securely by Apple via their App Store payment system. We never process, see, or store your credit card information or billing details.

Children’s Privacy

Our application is safe for all ages. Because we inherently do not collect, store, or transmit personal information from any of our users, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

Your Data Rights & Deletion

Because your data is entirely under your control—on your local hardware and in your own iCloud account—you have complete authority over it. You can permanently delete all information associated with the app at any time by deleting the app’s data from within iOS, turning off iCloud sync, or uninstalling the application from your iPhone or iPad.

Changes to This Policy

As our app evolves, we may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the “Last updated” date at the top of the policy will be revised accordingly.
