Cartsy Pro
Cartsy is free to use, and the free plan is plenty for a quick shop. Cartsy Pro is for when you want the lid taken off — keep as many products, list items, and cart items as you like, with no caps to bump into.
If you’ve subscribed: thank you. Cartsy is a small, independent app, and a Pro subscription is what keeps it running and improving. You’re not just unlocking features — you’re directly supporting the work that goes into Cartsy. We don’t take that for granted.

What’s free, and what Pro unlocks
The free plan lets you keep up to 10 products, 10 items on your shopping list, and 10 items in your cart. For a lot of trips, that’s all you need.
Cartsy Pro removes those three limits:
- Unlimited products — build out your whole shelf without trimming it back.
- Unlimited shopping list items — plan a big weekly shop in one go.
- Unlimited cart items — fill the cart as full as your trolley.
Nothing you’ve already added ever disappears — the limits only apply when you go to add something new beyond them.
Your free trial
Every new install comes with a 14-day free trial of Cartsy Pro, so you can try the
unlimited experience before deciding. During the trial you have full Pro access — all
the limits are off. The My Plan screen counts down how many days you have left.
When the trial ends, Cartsy simply settles back to the free plan. Nothing is deleted; you’d just see the limits again the next time you try to add beyond them. Subscribe any time — during the trial or after — to keep going without them.
Choosing a plan
Cartsy Pro is a subscription, and you can pick the billing period that suits you:
- Yearly — billed once a year, and marked Best value since it works out cheaper per month than paying monthly.
- Monthly — billed each month, for more flexibility.
Both give you exactly the same Pro features — the only difference is how often you’re billed.
How to subscribe
There are two easy ways to start:
- Open Settings → My Plan, choose Yearly or Monthly, and tap the button to confirm. The purchase goes through the App Store using your Apple Account.
- Or, when you reach a free-plan limit — say you try to add an 11th product — Cartsy shows the Cartsy Pro screen right then, so you can unlock and carry on without losing your place. Not ready? Just tap Close to stay on the free plan.
Managing your subscription
Once you’re subscribed, the My Plan screen shows your plan and when it renews (or, if
you’ve turned off renewal, when it expires).
Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of
the current period. Everything to do with billing — changing plans, turning off auto-renew,
or cancelling — happens in your App Store account settings, not inside Cartsy. Tap
Manage Subscription on the My Plan screen and Cartsy takes you straight there.
Cancelling stops the next renewal but doesn’t cut you off early — you keep Pro until the end of the period you’ve already paid for, then return to the free plan.
